The Interac Cash service is a convenient way to withdraw cash from your account at any Automated Banking Machine (ABM) displaying the Interac logo, anywhere in Canada. When you're looking for cash in a hurry, you don't have to look far to find an ABM. Accessing your accounts for withdrawals is easy and available almost everywhere in Canada, 24 hours a day. For information about using your debit card outside of Canada, see our International Services page.
The Interac Cash service is safe and secure.
A debit card cannot be used to withdraw cash at an ABM without the associated cardholder's confidential Personal Identification Number (PIN). It is important to report lost or stolen cards to your financial institution immediately to avoid any possible liability.

ABM owners or operators may impose a surcharge on customers that use their ABMs. An ABM surcharge fee is also known as a convenience fee.
As prescribed by a Consent Order issued by the Competition Tribunal, Interac Association may not restrict the levying of a surcharge.
If imposed, the surcharge amount must be properly disclosed to the customer, and the customer must be provided with the option of cancelling the transaction without cost if they do not wish to pay the surcharge. The amount of the surcharge is determined at the discretion of each ABM owner/operator. For more information about Fees, click here.
