Seasoned technology leader to advance the company’s digital infrastructure and modernization efforts
TORONTO, August 5, 2025 — Interac Corp. (Interac) today announced the appointment of Anuj Dhall as Group Head, Technology & Operations, effective immediately. This appointment will continue to drive the company’s commitment to made-in-Canada reliable, secure and cutting-edge technology for payments, digital verification, and commerce. He succeeds Jeff Henderson, who retired earlier this year following a distinguished 30-year career in financial services.
Mr. Dhall brings deep expertise in enterprise technology and financial services to Interac. In his new role he will lead efforts to further modernize the company’s technology infrastructure, enhance enterprise agility, and strengthen operational excellence. His mandate includes overseeing the architecture, engineering and technology operations of core services such as Interac Debit, Interac e-Transfer and Interac Verified. He will also be responsible for advancing our work with Payments Canada as the fraud services provider and the primary technical operator of the Real-Time Rail.

Mr. Dhall joins Interac from PwC Canada, where he was a Partner in the Financial Services Technology practice. Prior to that, he held executive leadership roles at the Bank of Montreal, the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and GE Capital Canada, where he led transformative initiatives including the launch of Canada’s first mobile banking and brokerage applications, and the country’s first cloud-based banking IVR platform, among other notable achievements.
