Mark Hines

Mark Hines is the Head of Fraud Product at Interac, where he leads the strategy and development of Interac’s next-generation fraud platform. With over 15 years of experience in technology and financial services, Mark was previously Head of Connectivity at Plaid Canada, accountable for expanding Plaid’s network, and data products. He also worked closely with regulators and industry bodies on open finance and payments. Before joining Plaid, Mark held senior roles at RBC, including Senior Director of Global Tech & Operations and Head of Digital Law, where he worked on digital product development, emerging technologies, and regulatory policy.  Mark began his career in private practice as technology and regulatory lawyer.
