Kris Zanuldin is the Head of Konek, leading the development of Canada’s most convenient, secure, and trusted way to pay. At the helm of this new national payment experience, Kris is driving innovation that empowers consumers, merchants, financial institutions, and especially credit unions – strengthening how Canadians pay and get paid in an increasingly digital economy.

With more than two decades of experience across payments, ecommerce, and fraud prevention, Kris brings deep expertise in building and scaling trusted financial products. Before joining Interac to lead Konek, he served as Head of Product for Amazon Pay, where he oversaw global initiatives to simplify checkout and elevate digital commerce experiences for millions of customers. His career also includes senior leadership roles at Forter, American Express, and Powered by People, where he consistently focused on enabling secure, frictionless transactions.

Today, Kris is guiding Konek’s vision to become Canada’s leading way to pay – delivering a modern, interoperable platform grounded in trust, security, and ease of use. His work is central to shaping the next generation of payment experiences for Canadians and the financial institutions that serve them.
