What is Tap to Pay on iPhone and how can I set it up?
Tap to Pay on iPhone enables businesses of any size to accept all types of in-person contactless payments right on an iPhone—from physical debit and credit cards to Apple Pay and other digital wallets—no extra terminals or hardware needed.

For contactless payments, transaction limits are set and will vary based on the financial institution but are typically set to $250.

What is the transaction amount limit when using Tap to Pay on Android?
Tap to Pay on Android can only be accepted to the tap limit set by the cardholder’s financial institution, which is typically set to $250. Transactions above the tap limit are not supported with Tap to Pay on Android, and you and your customer will be prompted to use an alternate payment method like manual card entry.
Are the fees for contactless the same as for Chip and PIN payments?
The fees are set by your chosen acquirer, which includes the fees for Interac services. For more information, please ask your acquirer for pricing or visit our Understanding Fees page.
