Shilpa Arora

Shilpa Arora is the Head of Strategy at Interac, where she leads strategic growth initiatives, including identifying and influencing emerging trends shaping the payments ecosystem. With nearly two decades of international experience, Shilpa has held senior leadership roles across corporate strategy, mergers & acquisitions, innovation and digital transformation. She has been recognized as WXN Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women and is one of Executive Woman’s 2025 Power 100 honorees.

‍Shilpa brings deep experience in Strategy & Transformation having led banking strategy, digital enablement, and business optimization at one of Canada’s top financial institutions. Her previous roles include serving as General Manager – Canada at DoorDash, where she oversaw international strategy and operations and leading Strategy and Innovation at Loblaw.

As a resilient leader in technology, Shilpa is a passionate advocate for diversity, inclusion and intersectional representation in the workplace. She actively mentors emerging women leaders and champions equitable leadership. She holds an MBA in Analytical Finance and Strategic Marketing from Indian School of Business and is a Certified Business Valuator (CBV), in addition to being a trained architect and CFA III candidate.
