Pay for your Winterlicious meal with Interac<\/em> Debit and Interac Association will donate one dollar to Second Harvest<\/strong><\/p>\n

TORONTO, January 30, 2015<\/strong> \u2013<\/strong> Today marks the start of Winterlicious, the City of Toronto\u2019s culinary celebration, and Interac Association is proud to return as presenting sponsor. From January 30, to February 12, 2015, diners can indulge in delicious, three-course prix fixe menus at more than 210 participating restaurants in Toronto.<\/p>\n

As part of the sponsorship, Interac Association will donate one dollar to Second Harvest for every Winterlicious meal purchased with Interac<\/em> Debit, up to a total donation of $30,000. This donation will provide 60,000 meals for the more than 200 agencies in Toronto supported by Second Harvest, Canada\u2019s largest food rescue program.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs presenting sponsor of Winterlicious, we are pleased to help the City of Toronto promote the restaurant sector, while reminding patrons to pay for their meals with Interac<\/em> Debit,\u201d said Caroline Hubberstey, Head of External Affairs, Interac Association and Acxsys Corporation. \u201cFor every meal purchased with Interac<\/em> Debit, we will donate one dollar to Second Harvest which provides two meals to people in need \u2013 just another reason to feel good about paying with Interac<\/em> Debit.\u201d<\/p>\n
