Apple\u2019s Tap to Pay on iPhone technology uses the built-in features of iPhone to keep the businesses\u2019 and customers\u2019 data private and secure. When a payment is processed, Apple doesn\u2019t store card numbers or transaction information on the device or on Apple servers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether you\u2019re a small business owner at a weekend farmers market, an independent contractor on the go, or an in-person business of any size, this solution lowers barriers to accepting payments wherever your customers are. Established merchants can also leverage this technology to create new transaction methods, improving their overall customer experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At checkout, merchants simply enter the transaction amount using a Tap to Pay on iPhone-enabled iOS app and present their iPhone to the customer, who then holds their Interac Debit card horizontally at the top of the iPhone, or by using Debit with a digital wallet such as Apple Pay.
