TORONTO, April 11, 2024<\/strong>, Interac Corp. (Interac), today announced Interac\u00ae<\/sup> document verification service as a new option for Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) users. The federal government agency is leveraging the new option for users to validate their identity when registering for CRA sign-in services such as My Account<\/a>, My Business Account<\/a> and Represent a Client<\/a>. Interac document verification service allows users to securely register and get immediate access to their accounts, making it faster and easier for individuals to access their tax and benefit information online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, the CRA registration process requires individuals to request a CRA security code by mail, which can take up to 10 business days. Integrating Interac document verification service allows users to get immediate access to their account without having to wait for a code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
