The forest fires blazing nationwide have displaced thousands of people across the country while triggering air quality alerts in communities in Canada and the United States, hundreds of kilometers away from fire centres. Canada is experiencing unprecedented impacts coast-to-coast-to-coast with the increased concentration of smoke continuing to threaten safety and access to vital resources. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To offer our support, we have made a $25,000 donation to the Canadian Red Cross<\/a> to support communities being directly impacted across the nation. Our funds will help alleviate current threats and support risk reduction initiatives for future disasters.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also understand the disproportionate impact Indigenous communities face in situations like these. Remote communities have less access to emergency resources and require additional support in combatting natural disasters. As such, we will be making a $10,000 donation to True North Aid<\/a> to provide emergency funding support to Indigenous communities impacted by the wildfires. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
