Interac is committed to supporting our employees, their families, and the thousands of Canadians that have been directly impacted by the ongoing wildfires in Alberta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fires have displaced families from their homes, destroyed community infrastructure and are hindering their access to personal funds, which is especially needed in this time of crisis. Canadians across the country rely on Interac products and services to move their money safely and securely. It is imperative that we help these communities get back online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To provide support, we have donated to the Canadian Red Cross 2023 Alberta Fires Appeal<\/a>, which will be used for immediate and ongoing relief, recovery and resilience efforts in response to fires, and community preparedness and risk reduction for future all-hazard disaster events within Alberta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have also encouraged our employees to join us in donating to the campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
