Canadian Retail Institute

Interac Association is proud to be a sponsor of the Canadian Retail Institute, a division of Retail Council of Canada that focuses on strengthening the retail industry by encouraging retail education and career awareness through educational programs, scholarships and partnerships.

As part of this partnership, Interac Association is pleased to participate in the Retail as a Career Scholarship Program, a program that honours students entering or enrolled in a business, marketing or retail-related program at a Canadian post-secondary institution, by awarding the top applicant with a $5,000 scholarship.

Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB)

 

The Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB) represents over 109,000 small business owners from coast-to coast. For over 40 years, they have represented the interests of the small business community to all three levels of government in their fight for tax fairness, reasonable labour laws and reduction of regulatory paper burden.

Interac Association, in partnership with the CFIB, presented Canada’s first ever Small Business Saturday on October 20th, 2012. The initiative helped raise awareness about the important role small businesses play in our communities across the country and provided consumers with access to local deals and offers from participating small businesses, right in their own neighbourhoods.

Motivate Canada

Interac Association is proud to be a sponsor of Motivate Canada, a Canadian charitable organization that specializes in improving the lives of young people by fostering civic engagement, social entrepreneurship, social inclusion and leadership among youth. We use techniques from sport, physical education and community driven development in our programming.
