What is Interac Cash?
The Interac Cash service is a convenient way to withdraw cash from your account at any Automated Banking Machine (ABM) displaying the Interac logo, anywhere in Canada.
When you're looking for cash in a hurry, you don't have to look far to find an ABM. Interac services have made accessing your accounts for withdrawals easy and available everywhere. Since the service is available 24 hours a day, you do not need to worry about what hours a branch is open or searching for an ABM belonging to your own financial institution.

Make it easy for consumers to access their money
When consumers need cash in a hurry they look for the closest Automated Banking Machine (ABM). As a merchant offering the Interac Cash service you provide consumers with direct access to their cash, 24/7.
ABM requests are passed through the Interac Inter-Member Network where the cardholder's financial institution verifies their PIN and funds before dispensing cash from your ABM machine.
ABM surcharge fees
Interac Association members may choose to apply a surcharge for transactions made using Interacservices. A surcharge is a fee charged to consumers by the owner of the ABM terminal.
